City budget proposal to see ice time costs rise by 80%

We would like to inform you of a proposal in the current draft of next years Ottawa budget which would drastically affect all Ottawa area kids playing hockey. There is a proposals that is being put forward that would increase ice time costs by 80% !

Based on a quick calculation for a team with 50 hours of practice ice - they would see an increase in costs of appox $4500 - more than $300 extra per child!!
