GasCo Residential Services was opened for business in July of 2008, specializing in inspection and repair services for all makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment. In the last year, Gasco's Ottawa Heating and Cooling Busnness has grown steadily, and they now offer a complete line of heating , cooling and ventilation products and services for the residential sector.

GasCo currently serves the entire city of Ottawa as well as the surrounding townships. Although their focus remains on the residential sector, light commercial heating and cooling services can also be provided. Inspection and repair remain the core objectives of the company, with licensed inspectors performing annual maintenance as mandated by manufacturers.

GasCo's success in identifying potential problems before they happen often results in longer equipment life, cutting out the need for expensive replacement equipment. However, since appliance replacement is eventually inevitable, GasCo's service department has expanded and now also offers sales and installations of heating and cooling products. From furnaces, fireplaces and air conditioners to chimney liners, gas lines and air filtration systems, home-owners can now benefit from a one-stop-shop for all their home comfort needs.

Owner Jody Wells says that impeccable customer service is the secret behind his great success. "Anyone can say what they do, but if you don't do what you say, what's the point? It's the little things that I try to focus on to develop this business and keep my customers happy. I also hire employees who share the same attributes, goals, and work ethic that I want to represent my business."

Starting a new business can be a challenging process, but the high repeat customer base following their first year of operation is a testament to GasCo's success in the department of customer satisfaction. As the company forges ahead into its second year on the back of a successful start, GasCo is emerging as the preferred choice for HVAC-related products and services.
