Walk and Raise Money for Ottawa’s Animals. Join us on Sunday, September 12th at 10 am for the 22nd annual IAMS Wiggle Waggle Walkathon. This year, for the first time in its history, the walk has a new location on Riverside Drive across from the RA Centre. Ample free parking will be available at the RA Centre. We invite supporters of all ages and physical abilities including: families, children, adults, seniors as well as community and corporate teams to walk and raise pledges to help Ottawa's animals. Participants can choose between a 5km walk and a 2km walk and can walk with or without a dog. Walk day unfolds with numerous activities for the whole family: a scenic healthful walk and a festival atmosphere that includes a Family Fun Zone, Pet Pavilion Marketplace, dog agility area, various other pet and family friendly activities, a BBQ lunch, contests and prizes. Registration is $25 for individuals and $40 for families (includes free doggy bandana). Pledges will help the OHS meet its fundraising goal of $215,000 for Ottawa’s animals and top fundraisers enjoy special prizes and exclusive perks. More info is available at ottawahumane.ca.
