As a part of their cross-continent film and social media project with NationalGeographic.com, Alexandra Cousteau and her Expedition Film Team will be visiting Ottawa to help raise awareness and support for local water initiatives. The team, traveling across North America in a custom-made biodiesel production bus, will partner up with Ottawa Riverkeeper, Canadian Museum of Nature and Students on Ice to host an exciting and informative evening at the Canadian Museum of Nature, home of the RBC Blue Water Gallery. The event is open to the public and will feature dynamic presentations and film clips on critical water issues.
The night includes:
-Meet and Greet with Alexandra Cousteau and the Expedition Blue Planet Team
-Keynote presentation by Alexandra Cousteau on critical water issues
-Presentations by Meredith Brown (Riverkeeper) and Paul Hamilton (CMN Researcher)
-Showing of film clips from 2010 Expedition Blue Planet
-Charity auction of special edition Alexandra Cousteau “Water Is Life” REVO sunglasses
-Interactive Q&A Session
