It's the 27th anniversary of the National Capital Triathlon - the East's second oldest triathlon! We were very pleased with the enthusiastic turnout and record numbers in 2007 and are confident that with some of the changes we have made, 2008 will see the event continue to grow. We are going to return to the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, West Field where we held the event last year. We think it is a great venue for the event and it shortens those dreaded runs from swim to T-Zone and T-Zone to bike mount. Look for the Super Sprint and the return of the SwimCycle. Enjoy the stadium atmosphere, convenient parking and the great urban, traffic free courses. For you paddlers, we have the Kayak Triathlon - a paddle-cycle-run event - back for another year in a great paddling venue. The Couples Challenge is also back again, for those couples who want to visit Ottawa on the Civic Holiday Weekend, for sightseeing and exercise. There's lots to do and enjoy in the National Capital.
