The Ottawa Give the Gift of Life Walk, which is being held at Andrew Haydon Park on Sunday, September 12th, 2010, is one of three Walks held in Eastern Ontario by the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Since 2006, these walks have raised almost $100,000.00 for much needed research for the prevention of kidney disease.

As I am sure you can imagine, a diagnosis of kidney disease can be a frightening experience. To help patients and their families adapt to the challenges of living with kidney disease, The Kidney Foundation of Canada offers comprehensive programs, including educational, financial and emotional support.
